We’re almost there.

For several weeks, a handful of testers have been exploring season 7 ahead of everyone else. They installed the launcher on all sorts of PCs, tried every screen, broke whatever could be broken, and told us about everything that got in the way. Thank you to them: thanks to their work, the season that opens will be far more solid than the one they first discovered.

We have a few last adjustments to finish, then the server will open its doors to everyone. The date will be announced on the Discord first, as soon as it’s set.

What awaits you on day one

  • A brand-new world to explore from the very first minute: the Overworld, then the Nether, the End and, for the most determined, the Domain.
  • The Athena launcher to download from the Play page: it installs everything and connects you in one click.
  • The full set of Athena mods: screens, messaging, protected bases, collections, photo mode, map, automatic optimization.
  • The website and wiki to understand it all: the world map, the gallery of players’ screenshots and the wiki guides.

You need a Minecraft Java account, linked to a Microsoft account. Make sure you know your sign-in details.

Check your PC

Windows 10 or 11, and enough to give the game 4 to 6 GB of memory. For the rest, automatic optimization adapts to your machine.

The beginning, not the end

Opening day is only a starting point. The Athena mods are brand new, and it’s by playing all together that we’ll see what works, what catches and what’s missing. We’re counting on you to tell us: bugs, ideas, wishes, it’s all welcome, and we explained how to send us feedback in the post about our mods.

Updates will follow throughout the season, along with more events. And in the meantime, Sombrebourg awaits you for Halloween, until November 30.
